Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ScalerDash ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our websites, create an account, or use our cloud software services.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information processed in connection with ScalerDash. It does not apply to third-party sites or services that we link to or that you connect through integrations—those are governed by their own policies.

2. Information we collect

2.1 You provide directly

  • Account and profile: name, email address, password or authentication credentials, company name, billing address, and payment details (payment details are typically processed by our payment processor—we do not store full card numbers on our servers).
  • Support and communications: messages you send us (email, in-app chat if offered), and metadata such as timestamps.

2.2 Generated through use of the Service

  • Usage and device data: log data, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages or screens viewed, actions taken in the product, and diagnostic or performance information.
  • Business data you import: operational or financial records you choose to load into ScalerDash, including data synced from integrations you authorize (for example, orders, leads, ad spend, or expenses).

2.3 Cookies and similar technologies

We and our analytics partners may use cookies, pixels, and local storage to remember preferences, secure sessions, measure traffic, and improve the product. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

3. How we use information

We process personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
  • Create and manage your account and authenticate users;
  • Process payments and fulfill subscriptions;
  • Communicate about updates, security alerts, and support;
  • Improve features, troubleshoot issues, and understand aggregate usage trends;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Contract: processing necessary to provide the Service you requested;
  • Legitimate interests: securing the Service, improving product quality, and communicating operational messages, balanced against your rights;
  • Consent: where required for optional analytics or marketing communications (you may withdraw consent at any time);
  • Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as described in this Policy:

  • Service providers: vendors who host infrastructure, provide authentication, email delivery, analytics, customer support tooling, or payment processing. They may process data only on our instructions and subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • Integrations you enable: when you connect third-party platforms, data flows according to your configuration and those platforms' policies.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect rights, safety, and security of us, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell personal information as "sale" is commonly understood in U.S. state privacy laws.

6. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, and as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Backup copies may persist for a limited period according to our technical retention schedules.

7. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit where appropriate, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and enable additional authentication options when available.

8. International transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our suppliers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms for transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete certain personal information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Port personal information to another service where technically feasible;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, email support@scalerdash.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice when appropriate (such as email or in-product notification).

12. Contact
